The cockpit is designed in a manner to provide as much space as possible, without unnecessary obstacles making maneuvers simple and fluid.  The S35 also features a convertible transom that provides seating and a feeling of enclosure or an open stern for stepping onto the dock or a refreshing swim while at anchor.  It comes standard with twin wheel, a cascade backstay that can ensure simple and accurate rig tuning and lines that run back to the cockpit making short-handed sailing easy.  With 344 square feet of mainsail and 403 square feet on the genoa, the S35 sails well in light wind. Reef the sails in strong winds and the S35’s stability will handle the winds and rough seas like a boat much bigger in size.
